CABASSA
Cabassa Music is a duo consisting of Afro-French DJ and producer Sessi and composer Denis Sokharev. They began producing music and performing as DJs over a decade ago. Since 2023, they have collaborated to create music together. Cabassa Music draws inspiration from the vibrant melodies of African music, African vocals, a blend of electronic sounds, captivating percussion, and diverse variations in the Melodic House style. Their joint release with Tommy Veneaud reached the Top 100 on Beatport’s Afro House chart. For Sessi, Cabassa Music is his second project. His first, Blacksnipers, in the Tech House genre, gained recognition from global stars such as Marten Hørger, Bijou, Matroda, EDX, R3wire, Swanky Tunes, and many others.
